The Web 2.0 Election

John Edwards is taking (and presumably will answer) questions via Twitter.

Every serious candidate is engaging blogs and interactive media as part of their campaign strategy. This is a good thing…but..

My question: Which candidates will keep the same lines of communication open to constituents once they’re elected?

  1. I’m pretty sure the lines of communication will involve a White House Press Secretary and no Twitter, et. al.

    Typical baby-kissing all around.

  2. Well, I don’t think we’ll see Twitter per se, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see an official presidential blog coupled with a select few White House “insider” blogs that may or may not be comment-enabled. But I do agree, all of this current access is definitely glorified baby-kissing.
