You read that right. Our Executive Director, Director of Research and one of our amazing advocates will be up on the podium with the C3 logo on the screen behind them at 9:30 am on Monday morning to ring the bell in honor of Colorectal Cancer Awareness month!

We only got the call at around 4 pm today that it was on. We wrote letters months ago, not seriously expecting it to go anywhere but it was worth a shot. We were recently told that the month was full. However, they said they get cancellations and we may get called on a moment’s notice. And that’s exactly what happened. I didn’t have time to do much more than get it on our website and compose a blast email that just went out:

Unfortunately, I won’t be there. Eric will be out of town (it’s a day ending in “Y” so chances are one of us is off doing something) and I can’t possibly get the kids off to school with enough time to get to Manhattan by 8 am, so I’ll be cheering on my colleagues from home. That’s the way I like it anyway…making a difference from behind-the-scenes.
