Last night's Grey's Anatomy

I just finished watching it on ABC.com. Wow. That was one outstanding 43 minutes of television. Beautiful, crisp. Rang incredibly true on many levels. I’ve completely given up on ER. It falls flat, especially airing right after Grey. I think the difference is that Grey’s is about people who work in a hospital, while ER is about a hospital that has some people in it. Gets old. As far as television goes right now, give me Grey’s Anatomy and Battlestar Galactica and I’m all set. Maybe some Heroes too, but I’m not 100% sold yet.

And ironically, in the middle of writing a paragraph about an episode that focused on the choices we have to make between family and career, Emily called from school. It seems that I completely forgot that today was pajama day and she wants me to bring her pjs and slippers. So now instead of sitting down and updating a web page which was the first thing on my agenda today, I’m going to hop in my car and bring my 8 year-old her favorite nightgown and pink slippers. No questions asked.

::sigh::
