Will the new Apple ads convince anyone to buy a Mac for home use instead of PC? Maybe not. But they’re still fun to watch. Nice to see Apple actually talking about features and ease-of-use for a change.
No more Intel vs. PowerPC…it’s all about the operating system now.

They can still talk about the hardware…
Yes, but the folks who are the target audience of those ads don’t care. Apple has always been about process in their advertising. Without a different chip, it’s less tangible. These ads talk to PC users in the language they’re already used to…which is not to equate a computer purchase with a religious experience.
