One of Eric’s favorite shows is Project Runway, and I’ve watched a few episodes with him this season. I’m listing to Tim Gunn’s podcast in the background right now. I love Tim Gunn. His style reminds me so much of the professors I had back at the Savannah College of Art & Design. Picture the talk around typeface choices instead of fabrics and there it is. I listen to Tim’s choice of words with his “students” and it takes me right back there. This isn’t made-for-television. The scenes in the workroom are exactly what it “feels” like to be in a college-level design course, at least it was for me in 1987–1990.
