Stress the fact that it isn’t “having kid” that makes you old before your time. It’s “having kids.” Plural, as in more than one.

This morning, we couldn’t get the girls to get along for 5 minutes in a row. When they’re getting along it’s a beautiful thing to watch them together. But Laini likes her down time and Emily is a go-go-go-go play-with-me-now type kid and there are days where they’re like oil and water. I am an only child and I have far more grey hair than my mother did when she was my age.
