Just got back from a trip to DC (lots more to blog about tomorrow), went to my [del.icio.us](http://del.icio.us) page (at around 9 pm EST) and saw this:
>del.icio.us is down for maintenance. we’ll be back in one hour.
Now it’s 11:15 pm and still the same message.
What is the point of putting “in one hour” if you don’t time stamp it? Or is that the point? I’d like to hope not. Reminds me of one of those urban legend emails that tells you some child has been “missing for two weeks.” Nevermind that the email has been going around for the past 3 years.
Anyway, the [del.icio.us blog](http://blog.del.icio.us/blog/2005/12/power_failure.html) says that the datacenter (not Yahoo yet) got hit by a power failure. Here’s hoping it’s back up soon. I have a backup of my links but it’s not as recent as I would have liked.
