I just got back from another Washington, DC trip (this time, to attend the [National Colorectal Cancer Roundtable](http://www.nccrt.org) annual meeting).

I lived for quite a while without a fullsize [iPod](http://www.apple.com/ipod) and I was just fine. But now that I have one, I don’t know how I went anywhere without it. Kind of like how I felt about my first cell phone in 1998. It made that 2.5 hour train trip feel like it was 5 minutes.
